DESCRIPTION

DAY 1

After 14:00h – accommodation at a hotel of your choice

14:30 – 17:30h – a meeting over a cup of coffee or tea with a Bulreisen representative who is going to familiarize you with the program of your stay. They will tell you more about the hotel you are staying at and help you with the booking of restaurants and other venues in town.

17:30 – 19:30h – time for SPA and relaxation. Enjoy the amazing SPA area in your hotel with its hot mineral water pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, massage studios and many more. The pleasantly arranged relaxation rooms are a good start to an unforgettable stay. A nice beverage will contribute to your breakaway from the stress of the big city.

20:00h – dinner at the hotel restaurant or a previously booked from us restaurant in Velingrad.

The restaurants will welcome you with a rich menu with high-quality dishes and beverages and perfect service. The menu in each restaurant includes international cuisine. The chefs use only the finest products on the market which they personally select. All this can be combined with the finest selection of wine from all regions of Bulgaria and abroad.

DAY 2

8:00 – 10:00h – breakfast at the hotel. You will enjoy a traditional, local and healthy breakfast.

11:00h – a walk around the center of Velingrad (with a tour guide).

12:30h – lunch. You can enjoy a delicious lunch at the hotel restaurant or at one of the many restaurants in Velingrad.

14:00h – SPA

A warm mineral pool with sun loungers, sauna, Jacuzzi and a nice massage will feel great after the walk.

17:30h – a walk to the Chepino district. You will see the largest karst spring in the Balkans – Kleptuza – which is also the emblem of Velingrad. Around the lake you will see a beautiful park and several cozy restaurants. The chapel St. Petka is a 10-min. walk from it.

20:00h – dinner. For you we can book a restaurant with traditional Bulgarian cuisine, a gourmet restaurant, a piano bar or a disco and organize a Drink & Drive.

 

DAY 3

8:00 – 10:00h – breakfast.

10:30h – a trip to the village of Dorkovo and a visit to:

• The medieval fortress of Tsepina and its museum. The first written records of the fortress date back to 1220.
• The Pliocene Park – the lost world of the mastodonts.
• The church ‘St. Prophet Ilia’ in the village of Dorkovo
• The carpet workshop of Hemus Ltd. in Kostandovo. They are famouos for making carpets for the British Royal Family as well as many other celebrities around the world.

13:00h – lunch.

14:00h – SPA and relaxation.

20:00h – dinner. For you we can book a restaurant with traditional Bulgarian cuisine, a gourmet restaurant, a piano bar or a disco and organize a Drink & Drive.

 

DAY 4

8:00 – 9:00h – breakfast.

9:00h – a walk through the forest with a professional mountain guide. Along the way you will see some of the chapels around town, enjoy drinking crystal clear water and feel the healing power of the fresh air. Walking is a good exercise for the cardiovascular and respiratory system.

12:00h – end of the 3-day tour and departure.

 

DAY 5 to DAY 7 – holiday

For booking 5-7-nights, we offer additional half-day excursions, ady trips and guided walking tours according to your preferences.

 

DAY 8

8:00 – 9:00h – breakfast.

12:30h – departure.

1. Hemus Ltd. carpet factory in the town of Kostandovo – they have sold hand-made carpets to the British Royal Family and to many other celebrities around the world, visit to the Pliocene Park – the lost world of the mastodonts, visit to the church ‘St. Ilia’ in the village of Dorkovo, a trip to the Batak Dam (lunch in the resort of Tsigov Chark) and visit to the town of Rakitovo.

The price is 15 euro per person if there is a group of at least 6 people.

2. Sarnitsa, Dospat Dam, the Museum of the Rhodope’s Fountain, lunch on a boat in the dam of Dospat.

The price is 40 euro per person if there is a group of at least 6 people.

3. The town of Rakitovo, a walk around the Dam of Batak, the town of Batak (and the church), the town of Peshtera, the Museum of the Cars of Socialism, the Fortress Peristera.

The price is 45 euro if there is a group of at least 6 people.
